Free Elder Law & Estate Planning Seminars

Estate Planning Education is an important part of LAElderLA. Our seminars inspire people of all ages and backgrounds to address their estate planning needs rather than shying away from them due to fear, and lack of information.

Seminars that help you protect your hard-earned assets…

We know it can be daunting to figure out what you need to do to ensure your own care or the care of your loved ones if you, or they, become incapacitated.

We provide free seminars for groups of 12 or more.

We also provide seminars through Los Angeles area churches or synagogues, the AARPthe Alzheimer’s Association, libraries — at many public locations and associations. Our hope is that we help our community by providing as much relevant information as possible.

Our Free Seminars

Our seminars fit a variety of different needs, levels, and purposes.

Sample topics include:

  • Asset Protection
  • Special Needs Planning
  • Medi-Cal for Millionaires
  • Ethics
  • End of Life and Estate Planning
  • Trust Administration

If you want us to provide a seminar for your group…

We love speaking to groups. We can tailor our topics to fit your organization’s particular needs.

For example, when we come to your church or temple we can help you and your fellow congregants focus their estate planning and elder care in a way that fits ethically and morally with your congregation’s religious beliefs and personal values. Likewise, you and your work group peers may share common issues. Or, perhaps you have a group of friends who are all asking these questions and really need some professional input.

Please feel free to call our office or send us a message using the form below. Just let us know about your group and which topic interests you.

Continuing Education Seminars for Lawyers

Our ongoing continuing education program also provides lawyers with the information they need to better serve the elder community. Joe is happy to address any gathering of lawyers who are interested in earning MCLE credit, or continuing education.

He is currently accredited to teach a seminar on:

Medi-Cal Qualification and Avoidance of Recovery (1 hour CPE, 45 minutes MCLE)

If you are a manager of a group of lawyers and would like Joe present a seminar, we invite you to phone our office to discuss possible arrangements.
